Their Eminences Mor Gregorios Yuhanna Ibrahim & Gregorios Boulos Yazigi were kidnapped
UN confirmed report says Mor Gregorius Yuhanna Ibrahim, Bishop of Aleppo was kidnapped by terrorists at the outskirts of Aleppo. The driver is killed. Along with Mor Gregorius Bishop Boulose Yazigi of Greek Orthodox Church also kidnapped. May our Lord be with and protect their Eminences. Lord have mercy.
SANA - An armed group kidnapped two bishops in a village in Aleppo
province in northern Syria, the state news agency SANA reported late Monday.
"An armed terrorist group today kidnapped Bishop Yohanna Ibrahim, head of the
Syrian Orthodox Church (in Aleppo) and Bishop Boulos Yaziji, head of the Greek
Orthodox church (in Aleppo) while they were on humanitarian operations in the
village of Kafr Dael in Aleppo province," the news agency said.
"Terrorists intercepted the bishops' car in Kafr Dael village, took the driver
out of the car and kidnapped the bishops," it added.
جماعة مجهولة تخطف حبرَين جليلين
نقلاً عن دوائر الاعلام في هيئة الامم المتحدة وسانا التي جاءت بالخبر المؤسف عن
اختطاف حبرَين جليلَين قرب مدينة حلب في سوريا اللذَين كانا يقومان بمهمة انسانية
وهما نيافة الحبر الجليل مار غريغوريوس يوحنا ابراهيم وسيادة مار بولس يازجي للروم
الارثوذكس وخلاله قُتل سائق سيارة المطران مار يوحنا ابراهيم.
وعلى الاثر فرَّ الخاطفون مع المخطوفين الى جهة مجهولة، وتُبذل الان المساعي
الحثيثة من كل الاطراف للإفراج عن المطرانَين الجليلَين واللذَين ترافقهما صلوات كل
المؤمنين في العالم المسيحي عامةً والسرياني خاصة. أعادهما الرب الى كنيسته المقدسة
وحماهما من كل أذية.
وقد استنكر قداسة سيدنا البطريرك المعظم مار إغناطيوس زكا الأول عيواص
الكلي الطوبى هذا العمل اللاإنساني، ورفع قداسته الصلاة من أجل سلامة
المطرانين الجليلين، وطلب من جميع أبناء الكنيسة إيقاد الشموع وإقامة
الصلوات من أجل جميع المخطوفين، وعلى نية الأمن والسلام في سورية
الحبيبة.
